美国古文物学会American Antiquarian Society（简称“AAS”）创办于1812年，既是一个学术机构，也是一个独立的研究型图书馆。此回溯典藏文献中记录美国人民从殖民时期到内战和重建生活的丰富历史档案，提供1684年到1912年之间最全面的回溯文献。AAS针对美国历史和文化文献的收藏量居全国之首，并且主要是20世纪以前的文献，包括报纸、书籍、期刊等类型。EBSCO平台提供AAS共50个子集的核心期刊回溯文献，共8455种回溯期刊全部是AAS所收藏并进行了电子化处理的文献，内容以美国国内出版物为主，并涵盖美洲其它地区出版品。
